Security Officer Driver Patrol Assessment

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assessment in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, stockroom areas, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter theft and disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
