Overview

Endodontist - Associate with Pathway to Partnership
Location: Muskegon, Michigan
Practice: Lake Michigan Endodontics
Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time

Overview

If you’re an Endodontist who wants to focus on excellent care, with strong operational support behind you, this is an opportunity to practice in Muskegon, Michigan while being supported by Specialized Dental Partners (SDP). SDP is a specialty-focused dental support organization that partners with and supports endodontic practices, providing operational infrastructure so doctors can stay focused on patients, outcomes, and referral relationships.

This role is eligible for Specialized Dental Partners’ Loan Relief Program, designed to support Endodontists in select high‑priority markets. Through our Access to Care initiative, we help expand access to specialty care in communities where patients have historically had limited options—while providing meaningful educational debt support to our doctors.

After you apply, you’ll receive a follow‑up email with additional details and a brief form to confirm eligibility. Questions are welcome at careers@specializeddental.com.

You’ll be joining a community of 450+ specialists across 275+ specialty locations in 36 states who thrive on specialty care and clinical collaboration.

Why this role stands out

At SDP-supported practices, doctors maintain clinical autonomy while gaining the backing of a team built to reduce administrative friction—so you can spend your time where it matters most: patients, outcomes, and referrals.

Practice snapshot (at a glance)

  • Established presence in the community with strong local referral relationships

  • Modern endodontic practice environment (add specifics: CBCT / microscope / digital workflow if true)

  • Supported by an experienced Partner doctor and a strong clinical/administrative team

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact through Access to Care–aligned work

You can expect:

  • Clinical autonomy with support from an experienced Partner doctor and a strong clinical/administrative team

  • Modern endodontic practice environment designed for efficient, high‑quality care

  • Professional development and growth within a specialist‑focused organization

  • Purpose‑driven impact—serving patients in an area where endodontic expertise is truly needed

Why Muskegon, Michigan

  • Lakeshore lifestyle: Located along Lake Michigan, Muskegon offers easy access to beaches, waterfront parks, boating, trails, and year‑round outdoor recreation.

  • Easy, balanced living: Short commutes, a lower cost of living than many metro areas, and a close‑knit community make day‑to‑day life more manageable.

  • Small‑city feel with regional access: Enjoy West Michigan’s lakeshore charm while staying within driving distance of Grand Rapids and other regional hubs.

Your impact

As the Endodontist on the team, you will deliver specialist care that preserves natural teeth, relieves pain, and improves long‑term oral health outcomes—while building trusted relationships with referring doctors and patients.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive endodontic care, including diagnosis and treatment planning

  • Perform root canal therapy and related endodontic procedures to a high clinical standard

  • Communicate effectively with referring providers and patients

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to support efficient patient flow

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Compensation and Support

  • Competitive compensation model with upside tied to production

  • Loan forgiveness support available

  • Company-sponsored local housing available for commuting clinicians

  • Business, operational, and administrative support through Specialized Dental Partners
