Trailer Body Technician
Location: Columbus OH
Interstate Utility Trailer is seeking an experienced Trailer Body Technician for our Columbus OH shop.
3 Day Weekend - Work Four 10-hou days

Work Five 8-hour days

Responsibilities for a Trailer Body Technician :
  • Sandblast, prep and sand truck chassis, bodies, trailers, and equipment surface for painting
  • Welding
  • Repair and replace all types of aluminum, fiberglass, plastic body parts, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty body components
  • Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
  • Adhere to the manufacturer’s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.
  • Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management.
Qualifications for a Trailer Body Technician:
  • Must have prior body repair and painting experience
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
  • Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Must be able to work independently
Physical Qualifications for a Trailer Technician
  • Sitting, Standing, reaching for extended amounts of time
  • Use job related equipment
  • Climb ladders
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
