Summary/Objective The Quality Control Technician is responsible for verifying that incoming materials and finished products are properly manufactured by meeting the requirements of internal and customer specifications. In addition, QC Techs are expected to be technically knowledgeable regarding plant processes and procedures in order to provide oversight and technical support for operations.  Essential Functions*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Verify incoming and finished product conformance to internal company standards and customer specifications per company procedures including:Verification of Food Safety and Quality processes (SOP's, SSOP's, GMPs)Sanitation Verification (Allergen & ATP)Weight Verification Foreign Material Control-Metal Detection/Glass & Brittle PlasticsLabel VerificationHold implementation. Pest control supportProcess and Temperature monitoringFollowing/enforcing gmp'sSupport regulatory, certification, and customer audits.
