Packaging Machine Operator (AHP)
Location: Columbus, OH 43217
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm (training: 3:00pm-7:00pm, first week)
Work Type: Onsite, temp-to-hire
 
Job Summary:
The Packaging Machine Operator (AHP) plays a key role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe packaging of products in a compliance-driven manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the shift Operations Manager, this hands-on position is critical in upholding quality, regulatory, and safety standards while working collaboratively within the operations team. The role offers an opportunity for career growth and potential temp-to-hire conversion for high-performing candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Stage and prepare repackaging materials and equipment for production runs
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery; perform minor troubleshooting and escalate as needed
- Follow management direction for repackaging and packing finished products to meet quality specifications
- Support machine operation, including stopping equipment for jams and assisting with maintenance escalation
- Participate in all required training including packaging, compliance, and safety
- Adhere to cGMPs, safety regulations, and SOPs at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production and quality targets
- Report quality or production issues promptly to support teams
- Accurately complete compliance documentation for each production run
- Physically handle products and materials weighing up to 35 lbs
