About the Role
Join a dynamic Stores Platform Engineering team as a Systems Administrator specializing in mobile device management (MDM) and point-of-sale (POS) systems. In this hybrid role based in New Albany, Ohio, you will be pivotal in designing, deploying, and administering innovative store technology solutions. Leverage your technical expertise to drive operational efficiency and support retail operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer store hardware and software, including POS systems, peripherals, and Android mobile devices.
- Provide expert support for store technology issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.
- Streamline workflows and improve system performance using reporting tools, scripting languages, and automation techniques.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve MDM migration and Android device configuration challenges.
- Deliver technical assistance for store technology projects, contributing to requirements gathering and successful implementations.
- Prioritize and resolve technical issues for remote users, maintaining strong communication with store associates and business stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years' experience in IT, with emphasis on retail technology environments.
- Proficiency in mobile device management, especially with Android devices.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting POS systems in retail settings.
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Clear, professional communication and effective time management.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous process improvement.
