Key Responsibilities

- Partner closely with engineering to plan and deliver features across a Node.js microservices architecture supporting mobile and web experiences
- Define and prioritize work across the React Native mobile app, backend services, APIs, and a custom Vue 3 SSR frontend
- Translate business goals and technical needs into well-defined user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog with a strong focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and long-term platform health
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering, QA, UX, operations, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with QA to ensure high-quality, stable releases across mobile and distributed backend systems
- Manage technical dependencies and coordinate work across full-time developers and consulting resources
- Analyze product performance, system health, and customer behavior to inform decisions and trade-offs
- Support architectural discussions by understanding and clearly communicating technical concepts and constraints (without needing to write code)
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve app performance, platform resilience, and the end-to-end customer experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical, platform, or mobile-focused environment
- Hands-on experience owning or supporting mobile applications, preferably built with React Native or similar cross-platform frameworks
- Strong understanding of modern backend architectures, including Node.js-based services, APIs, and distributed systems
- Proven ability to discuss technical details, understand system trade-offs, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
- Experience translating business objectives into clear user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria
