Position Summary
The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching an undergraduate courses in Food Science and Technology, including in-person and distance education formats. The position supports the instructional mission of the department through course delivery, student engagement, and curriculum support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach assigned undergraduate courses in food science and related disciplines.
Deliver instruction in both in-person and online modalities depending on the course.
Maintain and update course materials, assessments, and grading in accordance with university standards.
Provide student advising and mentoring related to course content.
Required Education
Master's degree or higher in Food Science and Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
Required Experience
Demonstrated expertise in food science or a related discipline.
Experience teaching at the college, university, or professional training level.
Ability to effectively teach and engage diverse student populations.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience using instructional technologies and learning management systems.

Reports to the Chair, Department of Food Science and Technology.
