RN Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab)

Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (7:30am–4:00pm; call required)
Pay: $2,668/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel assignment supporting diagnostic, interventional, EP, and vascular procedures. The RN will circulate and monitor cases, provide procedural sedation, and manage advanced cardiac support devices. This is a weekday day-shift role with required call coverage one night per week and every fourth weekend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Circulate and monitor diagnostic and interventional cath procedures
  • Support PCI, STEMI, and structural heart cases
  • Assist with EP and device procedures when assigned
  • Administer and monitor procedural sedation
  • Manage patients with IABP and Impella devices
  • Assist with cardioversion and advanced cardiac interventions
  • Perform sheath removal and vascular closure monitoring
  • Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
  • Document all care in Epic EMR

Qualifications

  • Active RN license required at submission
  • Minimum 3 years Cath Lab RN experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Experience with PCI and STEMI cases required
  • Experience with Impella and IABP required
  • CCI RCIS preferred
  • Prior charge or leadership experience preferred
  • Two recent leadership references required
