A Brief Overview


The Physical Security Coordinator/Reception will be responsible for owning the front desk receptionist area and be responsible for welcoming and escorting guests and ensuring the building remains safe and secure. This position is the first contact that guests interact with so they are responsible for creating a warm, welcoming and friendly environment. This position will help to maintain the access control system, video management system, security officers and logs.

What you will do

  • Act as front desk lead while maintaining building safety and security. Greet associates and guests in a professional and friendly manner. Check in and out associates and visitors. Manage and enforce visitor policy. Possess comprehensive knowledge about Safelite and the featured items in the lobby, and be prepared to answer questions from associates and visitors accurately and informatively

  • Professionally administer all incoming calls and ensure calls are redirected accordingly. Inform point of contact when there are visitors.

  • Help maintain access control, creation of ID badges, printing and deactivation. Monitor and aid Physical Security with access requests.

  • Maintain and audit the check-in/check-out log and badge log.

  • Support Physical Security team with alarm system audits.

  • Partner with real estate to manage maintenance and facility needs.

  • Perform a variety of clerical duties as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required

Experience Qualifications

  • less than 1 year Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Working knowledge of access control system and video management systems preferred

  • Friendly, upbeat and helpful personality and attitude

  • Demonstrate excellent listening and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to de-escalate situations and use judgment and discretion to identify whether additional security or support is needed
