What You’ll Do:

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a meaningful role on the Boundless Health, Inc. nursing team. The Medical Assistant reports to the Registered Nurse and will support the psychiatric team. The MA provides all patient care services as outlined in medical protocols under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or their designee. The MA is responsible for understanding the use of maintenance of and sanitization of medical equipment. In addition, the MA will assist health care providers with routine medical procedures. The MA functions following established policies and procedures within their scope of practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Adult and Child CPR
  • Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited school or program (i.e. hospital, community college, or an adult education certificate program) or must become certified within two years of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have good attention to detail and the ability to function effectively under deadlines, changing priorities, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Smart Care, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
  • Proficient with Electronic Health Records.
