Job description

Collections Analyst
Client in the distribution industry is seeking a Collections Analyst to assist with release order management, account aging review, customer payment follow-up, and accounts receivable support. Salary is $50-$55k, DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COLLECTIONS ANALYST:
  • The Collections Analyst will manage account aging and follow up on past-due balances to obtain payment and release held orders
  • The Collections Analyst will review and process release orders while communicating with customers regarding payment status
  • Perform credit reference requests, payment application support, and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Research account discrepancies, reconcile customer accounts, and assist with troubleshooting payment-related issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE COLLECTIONS ANALYST:
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with a professional and mature approach to problem solving
  • Prior collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or related experience is a plus

Salary is $50-$55k, DOE
