Job description

Role: Microbiology Tech III
Location: Columbus, OH - 43219
Duration: 04 Months       


Main Responsibilities:
• Media making tasks
• Perform audits on equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Sterilization of lab equipment
• Test environmental samples; Swab samples and water samples.
• Glassware sterilization
• autoclave usage
• Preventative maintenance on equipment
• Auditing on equipment
• Testing samples; powder, liquid, and raw ingredients.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• 1 year is Micro lab (preferred), or lab experience( If they have lab experience they can be a fresh grad)
• Plating
• Micro research is a plus
• Detail oriented
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or any Science with Micro experience. Master’s degree wouldn’t be considered overqualified.
