Minimum Experience: 5 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics Certifications Required: Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiation Physics; Ability to be listed as an authorized medical physicist on State of Georgia Radioactive Material License; Participation in the American Board of Radiology Maintenance of Certification Program General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Provides physics services related to the planning and delivery of therapeutic radiation treatment in accordance with the Radiation Oncologist's prescription. Provides technical leadership including clinical set-up expertise to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and therapists. Performs quality assurance checks according to regulatory requirements and industry standards for all department equipment. Ratio / Census: 30 per LINAC Unit Systems: Epic (Preferred), ARIA EMR/ Varian LINAC Experience Scrub Color: Not specified RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: Not specified Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
