Security Officer Patrol Presence

As a Security Officer Patrol Presence in Westerville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report observations, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Thur 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures for a commercial technology and equipment environment.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
