Security Guard Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 05:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 05:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, surrounding common areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe store activity for unusual conditions, potential policy violations, and security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming shopping environment and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
