Job description

Starbucks is seeking Baristas / Customer Service Representatives to prepare beverages, assist customers, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. Baristas are responsible for taking customer orders, operating the register, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, making cold beverages and food items, maintaining a clean work area, restocking supplies, and providing friendly customer service. Employees must follow Starbucks drink recipes, food safety guidelines, and customer service standards while working efficiently during busy periods. This position typically pays $15 to $20 per hour, and employees may also receive tips, overtime pay, holiday pay, and shift differential pay for early morning or holiday shifts. Baristas are responsible for preparing drinks to company standards, operating espresso machines, handling cash and card transactions, cleaning equipment, stocking cups and ingredients, assisting with drive-thru orders where applicable, and maintaining store cleanliness. Employees must work as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared quickly and accurately. Full-time and part-time employees may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, Starbucks partner discounts, free drinks during shifts, tuition assistance programs, and opportunities for advancement into Shift Supervisor or Store Manager roles.
