Job description

Join this established optometry practice in Upper Arlington, Columbus, OH, as a part-time optometrist with an exciting opportunity for eventual sole ownership. This position offers a competitive, pre-agreed hourly rate with the potential for bonuses and a pathway toward full ownership of the practice. While this role does not include traditional benefits, it is a unique opportunity to work in a setting that prioritizes compassionate patient care, seeing 1-2 patients per hour.

The practice currently operates limited hours, from 11 AM to 6 PM on Thursdays and Saturdays, and is open from 10 AM to 6 PM on Tuesdays, Fridays, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays once staffing returns to normal. Initially, the ideal candidate will work two 4-hour days per week, with schedules expanding with growth.

The practice is well-equipped with a full range of optometric devices, including a retinal camera and an extensive dispensary featuring a large variety of frames, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, personalized service. Candidates will receive generous training if they are not familiar with the equipment. Their team consists of four part-time non-licensed opticians and two part-time optometrists dedicated to maintaining the standard of care.
