Springfield Regional Outpatient Surgery Center (Springfield OSC) is a Medicare-certified, AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center located in Springfield, Ohio. With four operating rooms and a procedure room, the center provides high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical care across specialties including orthopedics, sports medicine, digestive health, general surgery, spine, women's health, plastic surgery, podiatry, and pain management.

Owned and operated in partnership with local physicians, Springfield OSC combines advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient setting.

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care at SROC. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Hours: Monday–Friday, part-time - min. 20hrs

What You'll Do
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings
  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery
  • Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients
  • Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols
  • Support patient education and post-op instructions
What You'll Bring
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Current RN license (unencumbered)
  • Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity
  • Exposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areas
