Overview:The Kindergarten Readiness Collaboration Coordinator (KRCC) plays a critical role in advancing Future Ready Five's mission to ensure children enter kindergarten prepared for success. This position supports preschool and pre-K classrooms across Franklin County by administering developmental screeners and delivering targeted, small-group literacy interventions based on assessment data.The KRCC partners closely with educators and families to strengthen early learning environments and promote sustainable instructional practices. In addition to direct child support, the KRCC empowers families by sharing assessment results, recommending resources, and facilitating workshops or office hours that position parents and caregivers as their child's first teacher.This role combines assessment, instruction, coaching, and family engagement to create aligned, data-informed kindergarten readiness supports.Work Schedule:Required hours are 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, in preschool classrooms throughout Franklin County. Afternoon and evening hours vary based on FR5 program needs. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.Duties and Responsibilities(Responsibilities may vary based on full-time or part-time status.) Assessment Administration (Required)Travel to preschool centers throughout Franklin County during screening periods.Administer developmental screeners using standardized tools provided by Future Ready Five.Ensure fidelity to screening protocols and maintain accurate documentation of results. Classroom Intervention & Instructional SupportTravel to centers to provide targeted, small-group preschool and pre-K literacy interventions informed by assessment data and individualized child reports.Collaborate with teachers and center directors to integrate interventions seamlessly into classroom routines.Coach educators through in-class modeling, observation, and feedback to strengthen developmentally appropriate literacy practices.Maintain detailed records of intervention plans, service delivery, and individual child progress. Organization, Compliance & DependabilityMaintain strict confidentiality of child and family data in compliance with organizational and legal standards.Meet documentation, reporting, and communication deadlines.Manage time effectively to balance screenings, interventions, family support, and travel between sites.Maintain organized, up-to-date digital records to support program monitoring and continuous improvement.
