Job description

De Novo, a boutique staffing and recruitment agency, is currently seeking a personal injury attorney with discovery review experience to work directly with one of our clients. This is a contract to possible perm position, on site at the firm’s Columbus, OH office. It is part-time to start (30 hours per week) with the possibility of going full-time if interested. The duration is ongoing and indefinite. We are looking for a motivated, committed, detail-oriented, dependable self-starter who takes pride in producing an exceptional work product in a timely manner and who can be flexible to the needs of the client.

The position involves handling sophisticated discovery. You will be working with human trafficking cases, receiving discovery, cross referencing it with other defendants, assisting with deficiency letters and creating a master corporate file making sure that what is provided in one case is copied to each individual file. Successful candidates will have five plus years of pre-litigation discovery experience. Ideal candidates will have experience using SmartAdvocate and Nextpoint.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an Ohio bar license in good standing
  • Must have 5+ years of pre-litigation discovery experience, document review experience is also preferred
  • Should have experience working with Google Drive; experience with SmartAdvocate and Nextpoint is preferred
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be dependable, detail oriented and able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner
