Job description

The Part-Time Receptionist is responsible for performing clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations. The duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, directing customers accordingly to various departments as requested. The Receptionist will provide a wide variety of support.

About the team - Yard Operations 

We conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction - from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.

  • Previous work experience (2 years) where you worked in-person with customers
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Experience using computers, and able to learn to use new technology and software
  • A commitment to providing fantastic customer service
  • Able to work well and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations
  • A full-time, in office position
  • A friendly, outgoing, patient personality
  • Answer and direct incoming calls accordingly to various departments.
  • Assist staff and on-site visitors with check-in and procedures and direct accordingly
  • Ensure that superior customer service is always delivered to all customers, internal and external
  • Assist and provide support to the Mailroom as needed
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed for on-site meetings and conferences
  • Perform various duties as assigned
  • Work within a team and maintain an open line of communication
  • Support of the security team as required
  • Order and stock office supplies, as needed
