If you have pulled cable, terminated panels, mounted cameras, programmed access control systems, and worked from blueprints on real commercial job sites — this role was written for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, route, terminate, and certify structured cabling including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cable on commercial job sites.
• Mount and configure CCTV cameras (IP and analog), NVR/DVR systems, and video management hardware.
• Install access control devices including card readers, keypads, request-to-exit (REX) devices, door contacts, electric strikes, and magnetic locks.
• Run conduit and install cable support structures including J-hooks, cable trays, and innerduct.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, wiring schematics, and device schedules to execute precise installations.
• Use standard industry test equipment (including cable certifiers) to verify cable runs and troubleshoot connectivity, power, and device communication issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records and submit documentation on time.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and site-specific security protocols at all times.
• Communicate professionally with project managers, general contractors, and clients on-site.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable, hands-on field installation experience in low voltage systems, structured cabling, or electronic security systems in a commercial environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Cat5e/Cat6 cable termination and installation of security hardware (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, wiring schematics, and device schedules.
• Comfortable operating hand tools, power tools, and aerial lifts safely.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• High School diploma or GED required. No college degree necessary — your field experience is the qualification.
