Job Title: Part-Time Cosmetology Instructor
Location: C-TEC's Postsecondary Center
Position Type: Part -Time
Pay: $25 per hour
Description:
C-TEC's Postsecondary Center is seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Substitute Cosmetology Instructor to lead and monitor adult students in the Cosmetology and Manicuring programs during clinic/lab activities, with the possibility for additional hours as our programs grow; the working hours are Monday & Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and applicants must be licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Ohio, with the ability to obtain a Cosmetology Instructor's License and Adult Education Instructor's License, and the pay rate starts at $25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and monitor adult students in hands-on Cosmetology and Manicuring clinic/lab activities.
  • Provide instruction in hair cutting, styling, coloring, skincare, nails, and makeup in a real-world, practical setting.
  • Develop and maintain a curriculum that meets industry standards and state regulations.
  • Guide students in perfecting their technical skills with individual feedback and support.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming learning environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through evaluations, practical assessments, and attendance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, products, and techniques to ensure students receive up-to-date education.
  • Maintain accurate student attendance and grading records.
  • Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure program success and compliance with state and accreditation requirements.
