Job description

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Title: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Oncology RN
Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days/Nights, 3x12

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, central line care, and blood product administration
  • Oncology experience including chemotherapy administration, brachytherapy, and oncology patient care preferred
  • Epic charting experience required

Preferred:

  • ONS Chemotherapy Certification
  • Previous travel nursing experience

Notes:

  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Patient ratios: 1:4–1:5
  • Adult and geriatric oncology unit caring for gynecologic and urologic cancer patients
  • Rotating day/night shifts with variable weekend coverage
  • Self-scheduling requests accommodated based on unit needs
  • Floating may be required based on staffing needs
