PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Low Risk 60%; High Risk 40%; GYN: 10%
  • Average Daily Volume: 4 inductions, 1-2 C/S across clinic and private
  • Case Mix: Low Risk Pregnancy, High Risk Pregnancy, Complicated Delivery, VBACs, GYN
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Trauma Level: Level II
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Office Equipment Available: Standard L+D support equipment
  • Support Staff Available: RNs: L+D RNs all EFM certified, PA/NPs: APRN per shift-primarily midwife, Office Staff: OB techs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Credentialing Timeline: 3 months
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
  • High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.)
  • FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE
  • OB ultrasounds Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
  • OB ultrasounds Performance of Interpretation
  • Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc
  • VBACs
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC or BE
  • Licenses: Active OH License (might consider licensing candidates)
  • Certifications: BLS; EFM from NCC
