Mars Petcare- Supply Driver- Columbus, OH

This site manufactures petfood: Pedigree, Cesar, Nutro, Royal Canin, Iams and Whiskas

Shift: 3rd (Nights)

Schedule: Monday- Friday

Hours: 11pm- 7:30am

Description of Role

The Cannery Supply Driver ensures the safe and efficient flow of materials within the manufacturing operation, including the timely movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to support production schedules and operational efficiency. This role works closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office and email communication
Physical Requirements
  • Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
  • Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
  • Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree or certifications
  • Forklift or other equipment certifications or experience
  • Prior experience in food or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Basic inventory or warehouse management system experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between production and storage areas.
  • Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and documentation of materials.
  • Support production schedules by delivering materials on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety and quality procedures
  • Any ad hoc requests
