Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Mon-Fri 07:00-15:30
Requirements
- 1-2 years Nuclear Medicine experience
- Associate's degree
- PET/CT experience required
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
- Ohio Department of Health Nuclear Medicine license
- IV trained
- BLS required
- EPIC charting experience required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac studies, HIDA scans, bone scans, and thyroid assessments.
- Ensure the proper handling and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and treatment plans.
- Document and report results accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Comply with all regulatory and safety standards in the nuclear medicine department.
Compliance / Notes
- Traveler eligibility: permanent address must be >100 miles from the facility.
- Pre-start: lab work within 48 hours of signing; EKG/dysrhythmia within 72 hours of signing.
- Submission: SSN and DOB required at time of submission; include available start date and requested time off (max 10 days per contract; no RTO during initial weeks).
- Attendance: multiple call-offs may result in termination (facility policy).
