Kensington Place in Columbus, OH is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as Service Ambassador/Front Desk Receptionist. We are currently seeking a new team member to join us on nights, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Ambassador creates a warm and welcoming environment in the lobby by smiling, greeting visitors by name, and learning about guests. Shares important information. Coordinates a fond farewell celebrating discharging patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates warm, welcoming lobby environment by addressing visitors by name and learning about them.

  • Answers phones with cheerful, warm greeting. -

  • Makes collection calls as instructed to proactively prevent accounts from becoming delinquent.

  • Answers basic center and business office questions; escalates as needed to appropriate person.

  • Assists with daily candidate interview schedules as needed; greets all incoming candidates and routes them to appropriate person for interview or the center’s Director of Human Resources.

  • Processes and distributes the center’s incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Accepts and handles payments at desk in accordance with policy and procedures.

  • Maintains the center’s Patient Fund Petty Cash box.

  • Prepares, copies, and mails administrative correspondence.

  • Assists with inventory and ordering of office supplies.  Maintains business office filing.

  • Follows emergency protocol.

  • Maintains the confidentiality of all residents’ records.

  • Reports all instances of abuse or neglect or other concerns to management.

  • Attends and participates in orientation, training, and in-service education, and staff meetings.

  • Ensures all mandatory training is completed on time.

  • Performs other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the center.
