Job description
Job Summary:
Healia Health is seeking a mission-driven Senior Software Engineer to help build the future of digital health insurance. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with product, operations, and sales to develop critical features and scale core parts of the platform, impacting member reimbursement and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Feature Development: Own end-to-end delivery of critical features across the stack. Work closely with product and design to scope, build, test, and launch new functionality.
• System Architecture: Help define and implement the architecture of our core platform—balancing scalability, performance, and maintainability. We’re early-stage, so your decisions will shape our technical foundation for years.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline, observability stack, and deployment processes to ensure our systems are robust, secure, and performant.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical and operational teams to deeply understand user needs—and translate them into technical solutions that actually work in a healthcare setting.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience building full-stack production software in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in building dynamic web applications and are comfortable picking up new tools as needed
• Experience designing and building scalable APIs and data models
• Care deeply about writing clean, tested, and maintainable code
• Thrive in ambiguity and love working on rapidly growing products
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excited by the challenge of improving health insurance through thoughtful, high-impact technology
Preferred:
• Familiarity with tools like TypeScript, React, NextJS, Postgres, and AWS
Company:
Healia is a company that provides revolutionizing health insurance for dual-income households, saving employers 85% each registered family. Founded in 2022, the company is headquartered in Columbus, USA, with a team of 11-50 employees. The company is currently Early Stage.
