Registered Respiratory Therapist
Full Time / Competitive pay
MLR is currently looking for a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team and make a positive impact on patients' lives. Join a dedicated respiratory care team focused on providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes through innovative and compassionate treatment.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Valid state license for Respiratory Therapists.
  • Proficiency in operating respiratory care equipment and performing diagnostic procedures.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory care techniques and protocols.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory conditions by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
  • Administer and monitor therapeutic treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results to adjust treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function and hygiene.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Description:
  • As a Registered Respiratory Therapist you will assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive respiratory care and ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
