Salary: $65,000-80,000 a year, Benefits, 401k, 20 days PTO, Holiday
About the role
As an Installation Technician, you will handle all aspects of assembling and maintaining our cleanrooms on customer job sites: unloading and staging materials, assembling components, detailed silicone work, and troubleshooting on the fly. You will travel to sites across the United States, work alongside a crew to meet installation milestones, and take direction from the Construction Manager and Installation Supervisor. Between installations, you will occasionally help out at our Plain City, Ohio warehouse or attend training at the home office.
What you will do

  • Install cleanrooms on site. Unload shipments during mobilization, organize staged materials, and assemble components into finished cleanrooms at locations across the US.
  • Deliver a clean finish. Complete detailed silicone work and quality work that meets our standards, every time.
  • Work from the plans. Read and utilize assembly drawings to layout and build material components. Work with accuracy to maximize time.
  • Hit the milestones. Work with your crew to meet installation deadlines and troubleshoot and solve obstacles as they come up.
  • Service what we install. Perform preventative maintenance and service calls, fix issues on site, and report your findings to the Operations Team.
  • Work safely. Follow all site, safety, and building-code rules, and always wear proper PPE.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous carpentry and/or construction experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, read a tape measure, and cut material to the correct length the first time.
  • Ability to solve basic math problems quickly and accurately.
  • Experience with a variety of hand and power tools, and the ability to care for them properly.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to job sites across the US.
  • Willingness and ability to take direction from leadership.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Preferred
  • Completion of a vocational school, technical college, or apprenticeship program, or at least three years of on-the-job installation experience.
  • Experience with cleanroom, modular, or interior build-out projects
