The SAP Supply Chain Master Data Senior Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and deletion of Material Master Data within the SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of business data by applying established data standards, rules, policies, and procedures during all data maintenance activities. The specialist partners closely with business and cross functional stakeholders to identify process improvements, support data quality initiatives, and maintain high-quality Material Master Data across Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.

  • Managing Material master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Execute material processes for data maintenance in SAP, including product data cleansing.
  • Perform complex data entry in SAP and other systems with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Gathers data from content owner and transfers data into a standard format for SAP-based ERP system.
  • Understands business data standards, policies and procedures and applies them appropriately to data.
  • Identifies and implements Material Master Data governance best practices.
  • Interacts significantly with Master Data Lead, fellow Stewards, stakeholders across Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams.
  • Leads audits for compliance and improvement.
  • Conducts investigations to address stakeholder complaints.
  • Makes use of specialized knowledge to assist customers in resolving problems.
  • Originates and improves technical documents and procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains credibility with the stake holders and co-workers.
  • Makes decisions as necessary to meet team and individual performance objectives with a continual improvement in performance.
  • Identifies alternatives to existing job tasks or processes and offers suggestions for improvement.
  • Studies best practices that can be applied to improve work tasks and processes.
  • Demonstrates self-reflection and solicits feedback from others regarding performance.
  • Performs data cleansing, normalization, and standardization using SAP tools and complementary dataquality utilities.
  • Executes data validation checks to identify duplicates, inconsistencies, and missing attributes, ensuring highquality Material Master data.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (with an emphasis in Operations, Analytics, or Information Systems), Data Management / Data Analytics / Information Management, or Industrial Engineering.
