Job description

About You
You love Jesus. You love people. You love bringing order to complexity.
You are highly detail-oriented and take pride in clean, accurate and well-structured data. You think in systems and processes, not just tasks. You understand that strong data governance is not about control for its own sake, but about enabling clarity, trust and better decision making across an organization.
You are naturally curious and ask questions like:
  • "Where did this data come from?"
  • "Who owns this?"
  • "Why does this field exist?"
  • "How do we ensure this stays accurate over time?"

You are both analytical and practical. You can define standards and policies, but you also know how to implement them in real systems like Salesforce. You are comfortable working with technical teams while also supporting non-technical users with clarity and patience.
You value consistency, documentation and accountability. You don't just fix data issues, you solve the root cause so they don't happen again.
At the end of the day, you are organized, proactive and mission driven. Most importantly, you know this isn't just your career. It's a chance to steward information that helps drive real impact. A chance to serve others. And a chance to help bring the Gospel to students across the country.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project planning discussions to represent data governance considerations, ensuring proposed initiatives align with data standards and long-term system integrity
  • Evaluate and provide approval on proposed system solutions, data models and process changes to ensure alignment with governance policies and scalability best practices
  • Partner with stakeholders during solution design to identify data risks, tradeoffs and downstream impacts before implementation
  • Establish governance checkpoints within project lifecycles to ensure data integrity and standards are maintained from design through deployment
  • Own and maintain data governance standards across core systems (primarily Salesforce)
  • Define and enforce data structure, naming conventions and field usage guidelines
  • Monitor and improve data quality, including identifying and resolving duplicates, inconsistencies and incomplete records
  • Build and maintain documentation for data models, processes and governance policies
  • Partner with teams to ensure data is captured accurately at the point of entry
  • Implement validation rules, automation and controls to protect data integrity
  • Conduct regular audits of system data and user behavior
  • Support reporting accuracy by ensuring underlying data is clean and reliable
  • Train users on best practices for data entry, management and stewardship
  • Collaborate with IT and systems teams on integrations, migrations and new implementations to ensure governance standards are upheld

Qualifications
  • A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management and data lifecycle practices
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (admin-level experience strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with data architecture concepts such as objects, relationships, normalization and data models
  • Experience with duplicate management, validation rules and data integrity controls
  • Ability to analyze datasets and identify patterns, anomalies and root causes
  • Strong documentation skills with an emphasis on clarity and usability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting or enforcing data standards in a growing organization is a plus
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and how data structure impacts reporting accuracy
  • High attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Willing to travel to Hilliard, OH once a week for in person work

Salary and Benefits
  • From $90,000 per year
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for qualified employees
  • Retirement plan, including employer match
  • Unlimited PTO for qualified employees
