This role is ideal for an engineer with 1-5 years of experience who has a strong foundation in mechanical design and enjoys hands-on problem solving, product development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

1-5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing engineering, or sustaining engineering.

Experience using 3D CAD software and creating 2D engineering drawings.

Basic understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to design and evaluate mechanical components and assemblies used in industrial, instrumentation, sensor, or electromechanical products.

Experience supporting engineering projects through design, prototyping, testing, and production release activities.

Familiarity with common manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, forming, molding, assembly, or related production methods.

Understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles including stress, strain, fatigue, sealing, and structural design.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, product management, and operations.

Experience creating and maintaining engineering documentation such as drawings, bills of material, engineering change requests, test plans, and technical reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot product and manufacturing issues.

Willingness to participate in product testing, prototype evaluation, and root cause investigations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with pressure sensors, pressure transducers, load cells, force measurement devices, or other industrial instrumentation products.

Familiarity with strain gage technology, sensing diaphragms, Wheatstone bridge concepts, or related sensor technologies.

Exposure to engineering tools and methodologies such as FMEA, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), or basic statistical analysis.

Experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD/PDM systems.

Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) concepts and interpretation of simulation results.

Hands-on experience with prototype assembly, laboratory testing, failure analysis, or engineering test fixtures.

Awareness of industry compliance requirements such as CE, UKCA, RoHS, or REACH.
