The Opportunity:

Legacy Professional Services is seeking a Construction Manager - Quality Control to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities supporting hyperscale data center construction projects.

In this role, you'll work closely with project leadership, superintendents, commissioning teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, applicable codes, industry standards, and hyperscale owner requirements. Depending on project needs, you may support civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or connectivity scopes throughout the project lifecycle.

Your expertise will help deliver reliable, high-performing facilities while supporting commissioning readiness, operational excellence, and successful project turnover.

This position is ideal for an experienced construction professional who is passionate about quality, technical excellence, and delivering zero-defect projects in fast-paced mission-critical environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout all phases of construction.
  • Perform and document field inspections to verify compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, manufacturer requirements, applicable codes, and project specifications.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and installation methods to ensure quality expectations are achieved.
  • Coordinate with project leadership, subcontractors, commissioning teams, client representatives, and specialty contractors to resolve quality issues and maintain project milestones.
  • Witness and document inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and system validation to support project readiness and owner acceptance.
  • Identify, document, and verify corrective actions for nonconforming work to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, deficiency logs, turnover documentation, and quality records.
  • Coordinate quality activities across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and connectivity systems.
  • Utilize Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Bluebeam, and other construction management platforms to manage quality documentation and reporting.
  • Support project closeout by verifying systems are complete, documented, commissioned, and ready for owner turnover.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in quality control, field engineering, construction management, or commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, installation practices, quality management, and applicable building codes.
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Experience performing quality inspections, managing deficiencies, and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, and Bluebeam.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, or other large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, integrated systems testing, and phased project turnover.
  • Familiarity with owner quality standards and mission-critical construction environments.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams across multiple building systems.
  • Experience supporting one or more specialized disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, civil, architectural, fire protection, or connectivity systems.
