CT Tech

Job Title: CT Tech

Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; may consider less for candidates with Level I or Level II experience. License: OH State License required, pending license accepted. Certifications: ARRT CT*, ARRT R, BLS. Must-Have: Experience with GE and/or Toshiba/Cannon equipment.

Description: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the central facility to be eligible to apply. Position requires ARRT certified CT Tech (CT AND XR). Shift consists of nights from Friday to Sunday (18:00 - 06:30). Call may be assigned within staff rotation. Large hospital or Trauma Level I/II experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited radiography program is required. Position involves performing and completing diagnostic procedures. Must follow guidelines set by the radiologic association. Prepare patients for examinations and perform diagnostic radiology procedures. Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Provide radiation safety for both the operator and the patient. Ensure proper patient positioning for procedures. Adhere to department policy regarding routine procedures. Charcoal grey scrubs and EPIC EMR are standard. Experience with typical department volume of 270-290 scans per day is preferred. Responsibilities include performing various imaging studies, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, and vascular studies. Skills required include proficiency in 3D rendering techniques, preparation and administration of contrast media, and adherence to radiation safety protocols. Collaborative interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Weekend coverage is required, including every other weekend and holiday. Attendance policies require strict adherence to call-off guidelines. References are not required for this position.
