Position Charter

CPS Operator I is the entry level position for the Clean Pack and Ship area. A CPS Operator I is responsible for cleaning, packaging and shipment of products safely and efficiently to support the achievement of company objectives.

Reporting Relationships

CPS Operator I reports to the CPS Supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and adhere to all safety requirements.  Communicate identified risks to leadership and assist in resolution. 
  • Complete all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment for you and your team members. 
  • Follow all process documents, such as work instructions, procedures, inspection criteria.  Report results in appropriate quality management system (QMS) and communicate non-conformances to leadership. 
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance. 
  • Contribute to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct.  Maintain a positive attitude, display enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicate effectively and professionally with team members. 
  • Demonstrate flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives. 
  • Inspect, pre-wipe and clean products for next stage of CPS processing and perform any related process functions for the pre-wipe area.
  • Inspect, assemble, and vacuum bag product inside clean room. Maintaining cleanliness of work area per requirements.
  • Utilize ERP and related systems to fill sales orders per customer order schedule and requirements.
  • Final inspects products, paperwork, and final packaging against requirements and perform ERP system transactions.
  • Second box, package, and label product. Palletize products according to shipment requirements.
  • Restock operating supplies as needed.
  • Maintain documentation per storage and retention requirements.
