Engineering Internship Program OfferingsΒ 

Mechanical - Capital Engineering Intern:Β 

  • Completing an assigned engineering project during the term of the internshipΒ 
  • Contributing to several ongoing capital engineering projects within the plantΒ 
  • Experience with and exposure to supporting the Project Management Life Cycle, including:Β 
    • Preparation of project specifications and requirementsΒ 
    • Project schedule coordination and utilization of Project Management toolsΒ 
    • Installation oversight, project closing activities, and sustainability initiativesΒ 
  • Valuable insight into large-scale manufacturing facilities, equipment, and safe working practicesΒ 
  • AutoCAD experience - updating existing drawings and creating new drawingsΒ 
  • Exposure to Conveying, combustion, fluid, and pneumatic transfer systemsΒ 

Mechanical - Maintenance Engineering Intern:Β 

  • Experience with and exposure to the primary components of Equipment Reliability, including:Β 
    • Asset management and process improvementΒ 
    • Capital management and executionΒ 
    • Contractor integration and managementΒ 
    • Development of machine maintenance best practices (PM,Β PdM, and more)Β

Required QualificationsΒ 

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at an ABET accredited programΒ ANDΒ be a maximum of 24 months away from graduationΒ 
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative, and within major)Β
