Job description

Job Title: Intern / Data Center Engineering Intern (Field & Analytics)

Department: Data Center Engineering

Reports to: Ciprian Buciumean

FLSA Status: ☐ Exempt ☒ Non-Exempt


Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated intern to support Data Center Engineering and Field Operations initiatives. This role will provide exposure to both hands-on field work and analytical/reporting functions, supporting active deployment projects and operational tracking.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Field / Hands-On Support

  • Assist field teams with data center deployment activities (rack & stack, infrastructure installs, QA checks)
  • Support site coordination and day-to-day operational tasks
  • Observe and assist with safety and quality processes on-site

Analytical / Reporting Support

  • Assist with tracking project progress, workforce data, and key metrics
  • Support development and maintenance of reports and dashboards
  • Help ensure accuracy in documentation and internal systems
  • Analyze basic data trends and flag inconsistencies or risks

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with interest in data and reporting
