Agency Expectations:
Position Summary: The Pickleball Instructor supports the growth of the JCC's expanding Pickleball program by providing high-quality individual and group instruction for players of all ages and skill levels. This role promotes a positive, welcoming environment and ensures that participants have a safe, fun, and development-focused experience on the court. The instructor is a visible ambassador of the JCC, delivering exceptional customer service and helping strengthen community engagement through Pickleball programming.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide professional instruction for private lessons, semi-private lessons, group classes, and clinics.
Manage, supervise, and facilitate court play to ensure safety, fairness, and smooth transitions.
Physical Requirements:
Certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PBR), Pickleball Coaching International (PCI), International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
