MRI Technologist Imaging Services
Location: Athena Medtech
Department: MRI
Schedule: Wednesday Friday | 3 days/week | 12.5-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 10:00 22:30
Weekly Hours: 40

Position Overview

Athena Medtech is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MRI Technologist to join our advanced imaging team. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Ideal candidates will demonstrate technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an MRI Technologist

  • Licensure/Certification:

    • ARRT (MR) certification preferred

    • BLS/CPR certification (required)

  • Preferred Experience: Previous travel or multi-facility imaging experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare, position, and image patients based on physician orders and anatomical protocols

  • Perform patient pre-screening, appointment scheduling, and exam-related education

  • Operate MRI equipment to capture clear and accurate cross-sectional images

  • Transfer and manage patient data and imaging files, ensuring proper PACS documentation and image labeling

  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety procedures and HIPAA guidelines

  • Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or performance issues promptly

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe imaging department
