Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool | Travel Contract
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool for a 17-week travel contract at our client medical center in Columbus, OH.
Start Date: 09/21/2026
Contract Duration: 17 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3×12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend: Every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to different ICU units within the organization based on staffing and patient acuity.
Contract End Date: 01/02/2027
The ICU Float Pool supports multiple critical-care areas, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, CVICU, and other critical-care units.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience. Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred. Teaching hospital experience required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required. EPIC experience required.
Must have experience with IV starts and IV therapy, telemetry and cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, arterial line management, central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia management, and care of critically ill and ventilated patients.
Must be comfortable floating across multiple ICU units and caring for high-acuity adult patients.
