Job description


Responsible for keeping the grounds and backside barn/stall area maintained with a clean, neat, and orderly appearance.
Responsibilities
  • Sweeping out stalls and following up with washing down the stalls with a hose.
  • Hanging silks in preparation of evening races.
  • Ensuring all stalls are neat and orderly at end of shift.
  • Understand and practice Family Style Service at all times with all guest and team members.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
  • Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of employees and guests at all times.
  • Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
  • Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guest.
  • Work area consists of all facilities on property.
  • Able to work around horses and confined areas.
  • Exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
  • Varied weather conditions, fumes, and chemicals used in maintenance.
  • High School Graduate
