The Big Task

As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems while providing an exceptional customer experience. You'll be the expert customers rely on when their air conditioner, furnace, heat pump, or other HVAC system isn't working properly. Your technical knowledge and ability to clearly communicate solutions will help homeowners stay comfortable year-round.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative HVAC service to improve system performance and extend equipment life.
  • Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions based on the customer's needs.
  • Clearly explain HVAC problems, recommended repairs, and system care to homeowners.
  • Deliver a professional, respectful, and customer-focused experience in every home.
  • Document completed work, materials used, system readings, and service notes in the company's reporting system.
  • Follow all safety procedures, HVAC codes, and company standards.
  • Work closely with dispatch, sales, and other teams to ensure customers receive timely and complete service.
  • Stay current on HVAC technology, tools, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain company-provided equipment, vehicles, technology, and tools.
