What We Look For In a Math 3 Tutor

  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with Integrated Math 3 curricula and Common Core standards, and common challenges such as graphing rational functions, understanding logarithmic scales, and applying the normal distribution. Adapts instruction using graphing technology, data analysis projects, and cumulative review strategies to support students preparing for AP Mathematics, SAT, or college-level coursework.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
