With two state-of-the-art facilities located in Columbus, Ohio, we proudly serve key industries including automotive, appliance, agriculture, lawn and garden, and heavy truck.
Join Our Team:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and driving the successful execution of engineering projects within our manufacturing environment. From initial concept and design through seamless production implementation, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our processes and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to achieve project goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead and manage diverse engineering projects focused on the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment upgrades, product design enhancements, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion, and ensure a strong return on investment.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as Production, Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, Commercial and Procurement to ensure seamless alignment, clear communication, and the successful achievement of project objectives.

Requirements
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience and practical application of Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP software systems, with experience using Aptean Made2Manage or similar ERP platforms being a plus.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining and Die making processes.
  • Prior experience and understanding of sheet metal stamping operations.

Work Environment:
  • This position requires a dynamic work environment, with time actively spent across these 3 main areas, manufacturing plant, office-based tasks, and travel to customer and supplier locations.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment.
  • May require occasional travel to different production sites or supplier locations to support project activities.
