Job description

Business Office Manager
Location: Westerville, OH | Schedule: Full-time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred, or an associate's degree in business/business administration
  • Must have two (2) years as a business office manager or in a human resources role
  • Must have the ability to communicate with residents and personnel, the ability to read and write in English, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Job Summary
The business office manager oversees the daily administrative, financial, and human resources operations of the facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, billing, payroll, employee records, accounts management, and coordinating employee engagement initiatives while driving efficient business office operations and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Process payroll, review timecards, and ensure wage compliance
  • Manage billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and prepare reports
  • Maintain accurate resident and employee records in accordance with regulations
  • Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee file management
  • Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and HR-related processes
  • Assist with recruiting efforts and employee retention programs
  • Handle workers' compensation claims and maintain OSHA reporting logs
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and financial reports
  • Oversee office operations, including reception staff and supply management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team
