Job description

Flint Ridge located in Newark, OH is seeking experienced Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our Night Shift Team.

Position Summary:

As a Flint Ridge CNA, you will enjoy working in an environment that promotes professional growth and development. STNA individuals are responsible for caring for the residents under the direction and supervision of a RN/LPN. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Essential Functions of CNAs:

· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

· Assist in daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.

· Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.

· Adhere to all policies and procedure of CCH Corporation.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

  • Experience: Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
