Job description

1ST AND 2ND

We're looking for a dependable Production Support team member to help keep production operations running efficiently by ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are available when needed. This role plays an important part in maintaining workflow, supporting production teams, and contributing to a safe, organized manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Transport materials, parts, and supplies to and from the production line to maintain continuous workflow.
  • Stack and unstack materials safely and efficiently to support production operations.
  • Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through routine housekeeping.
  • Respond promptly to radio calls and operational requests.
  • Monitor and manage fixture inventory to support production needs.
  • Assist in preventing production downtime by ensuring materials are available when needed.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve production goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all MPW safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate equipment, inventory, safety, or operational concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.

 

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education will be considered.
  • Ability to work safely, efficiently, and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; forklift, receiving, and basic computer knowledge are a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform physical manual labor, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and position yourself to work in and around confined spaces.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators, when working around chemicals, fumes, or similar environmental conditions.
  • Ability to maintain fitness for duty, work extended shifts when needed, and travel to support operations at various locations for days or weeks as business needs require.
